About Us
Green Space Inc. is a Puerto Rican company with more than 25 years of experience in green area
maintenance, planting, ecological design, tree management, and sustainable landscaping. It was founded in the year 2000 by agronomist Roberto Arce Tovar. Our mission has been to transform spaces throughout the entire island of Puerto Rico, integrating natural beauty, functionality, and environmental awareness into every project.

Throughout our trajectory, we have collaborated with educational institutions, residential clients (complexes, urbanizations, and individual homes), as well as multinational and commercial locations. Our proposal goes beyond landscape design: we create environments that inspire, regenerate, and provide both aesthetic and ecological value. We specialize in mitigation plans, irrigation system installation, interior gardens, urban reforestation, and environmental consulting. As a certified planting professional by the Department of Natural Resources, we handle tree management permits, reforestation, and the creation of forests.

Each service is tailored to the needs of our clients, with a technical and creative approach that guarantees lasting results.Our commitment to sustainability is also reflected in our community actions. We have supported social projects such as the Toque de Amor Mayagüez initiative, working hand in hand with companies like Walmart Puerto Rico to create accessible and healthy green spaces.

Meet Our Founder
Agronomist Roberto Arce Tovar
Roberto Arce Tovar is a licensed agronomist with a solid trajectory in ecological landscaping, green area development, and strategic environmental planning.
With more than 25 years of experience in the field, he has become a leading figure in the sustainable transformation of both urban and natural environments across Puerto Rico.

Throughout his career, he has led complex projects that integrate landscape gardening, erosion control, high-efficiency irrigation systems, pest management, biological control, and environmental mitigation plans. His approach combines technical expertise, aesthetic sensitivity, and a vision deeply aligned with ecological regeneration and community development.

Before founding Green Space Inc. in the year 2000, Agronomist Arce Tovar led the planning of green areas for the Ana G. Méndez University System, managing over 500 cuerdas of land across 12 campuses, where he also designed an institutional greenhouse for the propagation of plants, trees, and palms. His ability to integrate green infrastructure with educational, residential, and corporate environments has been essential to the positive impact of his projects.

He currently continues providing consulting services, technical training, and direction for high-profile projects. He is certified as a Professional in Planting and Forestry (PSF-174) and is an active member of the College of Agronomists of Puerto Rico (Lic. #2975). His leadership has been key in the evolution of Green Space Inc. as a company recognized for its commitment to excellence, sustainability, and collective well-being.
